My wife loves her some Paul Baribeau. So last year, when she couldn’t make it down with me to Fest, I asked Paul to make a sad face for a picture, and I sent it to her. She was pretty psyched, not “I saw her play live” psyched, but psyched nonetheless.

I’ve never been into Manson, not even during those early years. The music, for me, was always so-so, but the fans were only second in shittiness to Juggalos. Just giant black pants wearing cartoons with “ironic” look at me but don’t look at me t-shirts. It’s hard not to write off a band that inspires these dregs.

As much as I do enjoy this cover, it inspires no interest in me whatsoever to go back and give Manson another go.
