]]> Billy Woods released two quality albums in one year, Aethiopes in April and Church in September. Initially Aethiopes didn’t really grab me, I think I never gave it a fair listen. But I was very into Church when it came out, enough so that I went back and gave Aethiopes another chance. Man, did I make a mistake.

Aethiopes (and Church) is one of my favorite albums of 2022.
