]]> I’m super stoked for the new album “NO.” Order it here.

In the meantime, here is a track from their Seminar II: The Holy Rites of Primitivism Regression album.

Mandried is a pretty good “Cliff Notes” version of OMG in eight minutes and ten seconds. It starts heavy and riffy (that is now a word) with shouted vocals, then the vocals go out and the song marches on, getting nosier and nosier. The drums drop out, and the guitar slowly fades, and the noise gets more prominent. Eventually, it becomes a noise collage with only the faintest traces of what the song started as. 8:10 that completely covers everything that Old Man Gloom does.

]]> Two-piece band from LA. I honestly found these guys twenty minutes ago via a Hydrahead tweet, but I’m totally sucked in.

More music can be found on their SoundCloud page, and there are a few videos on the band’s website.

Now I need to find a way to justify a $25 lp.
