TORN CLOTH BY SLOW WALKERS

An absolutely great album from Lawrence English and Liz Harris. I've been listening to it for years and never get tired of it.

NIMB #49 BY TOSHIMARU NAKAMURA

NIMB stands for "No Input Mixing Board," meaning this was created with no sound input of any kind. The "music" is made by manipulating the feedback of plugging the mixing board into itself. There are pedals and effects, but nothing that is intended to produce sound.

HAND OF MAN BY NICE HOOVES

Short-lived Detroit band featuring members of The Armed and Band Bang.

MY BEAUTIFUL RUINS BY SUNDOWNER

I saw Sundowner like 5 or 6 years ago on the Revival Tour. It didn’t do it for me. To the piont that I fully wrote it/him off, despite being 1/3 of the Lawrence Arms (a band I like but don’t worship like so many seem to), and being the lead on my favorite Lawrence Arms songs.

Some how Neon Fiction ended up on some Spotify playlist or something and it just grabbed me. I listened to it a lot, but as it often happens with basically infinite music to listen to, I kind of forgot about it.

My mom actually bought me a copy of Neon Fiction for my birthday last week, and I’ve been revisiting it. Still great.

DESERT BY BODY BETRAYAL

Dead, but great.

BLUE TYPE III BY DAG ROSENQVIST

I can not stress enough how much I absolutely love the album this song is from, “Wolven (A Modern Interpretation).” I never seem to get tired of it.

Dag Rosenqvist, is one of the 9 musicians who contributed the the Wolven album. He previously went by the name Jasper TX, and was previously posted on this site 6 years ago,.

Go buy the Wolven album or just listen to it on Spotify. I can’t recommend it enough.
