I’ve never been a big fan of the Misfits. I’m sure to some this is heresy, but it’s the truth. Somehow they managed to sound to cartoony, even next to the Ramones. 

Nevertheless David Pajo’s (Slint, Tortoise, Royal Trux, Zwan, etc) 9-song Misfits cover album, “Scream With Me” is killing me.
